The standard, word for word
Esrog
Clean of black dots (even those not easily visible, which are technically permitted according to all Poskim). The upper third is clean of bletlech (scabs) unless they are very small; the lower section may occasionally have bletlech, but not overly large ones. Emphasis is placed on a beautiful shape (gidul na'eh).
Lulav
Closed to the top, with the two upper leaves at the same height and a beautiful tiyumes.
Hadassim
High-level shilush (beyond what is typically provided in standard Mehudar A-A hadassim).

The standard, word for word
Esrog
Clean of black dots (as above). The upper section may occasionally have bletlech, but they are not too large or prominent; the lower section may have small ones. Effort is also made to ensure a gidul na'eh.
Lulav
Closed to the end, though there may be height differences between the leaves.
Hadassim
The entire hadas is meshulash as is customary for A-A hadassim. Within this category there are many levels of hechsherim; we strive to bring the highest quality available.

The guarantee

The Motz is in the room.

A Moreh Hora'ah will be present at distribution. If he determines an item is not worth what you paid, it will be exchanged on the spot.

Reserve stock flies in for exactly this. Kasher v'yashar, one hundred percent, and you rely on the Rabbanim who bring it.

Why can't I pick my own lulav?

Because a Rav already did. Every item is inspected and approved in Eretz Yisrael by Morei Hora'ah who are experts in hilchos Daled Minim, then sealed. You take it home and open it in your sukkah.

What if the Motz says it is not worth the money?

It is exchanged right there, on the spot, from reserve stock brought for exactly that. You are never told to come back another day.

What exactly is in a set?

All four: esrog, lulav, hadassim and aravos. The esrog in a box, the hadassim and aravos in a sealed bag, the lulav sealed. What changes between levels is how strictly each item was sorted.

Can I order for my children?

Yes. The Kosher L'Bracha (Chinuch) set is $40, so every boy holds his own minim. One order can hold a Mehudar A-A for you and Chinuch sets for the boys.

When and where do I pick up?

The day after Yom Kippur, at your community's host Beis Medrash, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your confirmation has the address. Send anyone with your code if you cannot come.
